Essam Abdelhamid is a Canadian-Egyptian entrepreneur and software developer. A Computer Science graduate from Carleton University, Essam is the founder of multiple innovative businesses including Lifelink, PixlNext, Guardu, and Luumi. Currently focused on Lifelink and PixlNext, Essam is dedicated to creating technology solutions that solve real-world problems and improve lives across Canada.

Born with dual Canadian and Egyptian citizenship, Essam Abdelhamid spent 17 years in Saudi Arabia before moving to Ottawa, Canada at the age of 17. After completing his Computer Science degree at Carleton University and living in Ottawa for 6 years, Essam now calls Calgary, Alberta home. Essam has founded four innovative companies: Luumi (corporate employee invitation platform), Guardu (private security guard booking platform), PixlNext (website and mobile application development), and Lifelink (unified medical records system for Canada).
